Antimemories (antimémoires in french) is an online personal photographic diary, launched in january 2018. Romain Philippon, freelance photographer, works with Yann Hamonet, writer. They both try to interact with the other's memories. Philippon, who's born in France, now lives and work 10.000 kilometers away, in Reunion Island. His two children were born on the Island, and he now questions where his roots have been, through his children's ones. Every year, he takes his children to France, for a month. Is France just an exotic destination for them ? Will their roots will change over the years ? Are all the pictures he make are already memories ? Every 15 of each month, a new serie is updated on the website : www.antimemoires.com
